8th Grade: Triangle Shirtwaist Factory FireIn the fall of 2014, I was accepted into the PBS Learning Media Digital Integrators program. This unit was created to fulfill the requirements of that program. Students used a video from PBS Learning Media to expand their knowledge of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory disaster. They then wrote a persuasive piece about whether or not the owners of the factory were at fault for the disaster. The plans, a link to the video, and student work are below.
